Our firm are Commissioners for Oaths under the Commissioners for Oaths Act 1889.
When we are acting as Commissioners for Oaths, we charge £ 5.00 to swear an Affidavit, Statutory Declaration or Affirmation or lease , for use in England or Wales;
For certifying a passport our fee is £40.00 per passport.
Notary Public fees
For the Notarial Certification of documents to go overseas, our minimum fee per document, is currently £40.00
We charge £69.00 for each Foreign and Commonwealth Office Apostille, per document.
Customised Drafting of documentation fees Should you require our firm to draft documentation for your specific requirements, we would be pleased to do so for you. We would be pleased to quote you for your bespoke requirements. Our hourly rate is £300.00 per hour.
In accordance with the Solicitors Act 1974, Section 23 , our Wills Department can assist clients by providing the following services:
1. Will drafting - for a single Will, we charge £295.00 and for double (mirror) Wills, we charge £ 495.00. If the Will is not straight forward , we charge £300.00 per hour to draft the documentation. A Will Drafting Instruction Form will be sent to you, if you complete our online contact form.
2. Estate Administration - Executors and Personal Representatives prefer to have a law firm administer the estate of a deceased person. Our firm can administer the estate and can complete all formalities necessary to finalise an estate. Our charges for this service are available upon application.
3. Inheritance Tax Planning - we are able to advise with respect to Inheritance Tax Planning at the time of drafting your Will or at a separate appointment. Our charges for this service are at our hourly rate of £300.00 per hour.
4. Lasting Powers of Attorney - the Lasting Powers of Attorney documentation allows the person doing the appointing to grant to their appointed attorney, authority to make decisions on their behalf, should they be unable to make decisions for themselves. To draft a Lasting Power of Attorney is often complex and therefore our firm can provide assistance in this area. Our charges for this service are at our hourly rate of £300.00 per hour.
5. Living Wills - during your lifetime you can specify in advance the extent of medical treatment you are to be given should you become unable to give instructions concerning your care in the future or suffer from a medical condition whereby your condition deteriorate over time. Our charges for this service are at our hourly rate of £300.00 per hour.

6. Trusts - can be provided to save taxation and to protect property. Trusts can specifically be created by a Will or through a Trust Deed. The Trust is administered by Trustees on behalf of beneficiaries. Our charges for this service are at our hourly rate of £300.00 per hour.
