Mercy Killer Mother Appeals Sentence (February 07, 2010)
A mother found guilty of murder after giving a lethal overdose to her disabled son is to appeal against her conviction.

The mother was convicted of killing her son, who was left brain - damaged. Two months after the accident, she injected him with a overdose of heroin. 

She was jailed in England last month, with a minimum sentence of nine years.
