What a gas the law is ? (January 13, 2010)
An Australian farmer ended his fifty six day hunger strike twenty feet up a wind monitoring tower on his farm.

He was protesting at laws aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. 

The laws restrict the amount of land farmers can clear of vegetation that absorbs carbon dioxide.
