Manchester United Football Keep Solvent (January 12, 2010)
If it had not been for the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid, Manchester United would have made  a £31.8 million loss last year. 

United announced a pre - tax profit of £48.2 million for the year ending 30th June, 2009.
