Toronto Maple Leafs Trade Players

The Toronto Maple Leafs, Ice Hockey Team, made two sets of trades, securing defenseman Dion Phaneuf and goaltender Jean - Sebastien Giguere.



Leaving the Toronto Maple Leafs for the Calgary Flames are Matt Stajan, Niklas Hagman, Jamal Mayers, and Ian White. Departing for the Anaheim Ducks are Vesa Toskala and Jason Blake. 

The Toronto Maple Leafs also pick up prospect Keith Aulie and third line player Fredrik Sjostrom from the Calgary Flames. 

With these trades being made, perhaps the Toronto Maple Leafs will become once more the great team they have been in the past?   Will the Toronto Maple leafs, make the playoffs for the Stanley Cup this year will depend on the strength of the coaching team.
