A Dutch airliner made an emergency landing at Shannon Airport in Ireland when a passenger claimed there was a bomb on board.
The plane was carrying 224 passengers and 11 crew from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport to the Dutch Caribbean islands of Aruba and Curacao when a passenger repeatedly told the crew there was bomb on board.
The pilot ultimately decided to make an emergency landing.
A 44 year old Dutch national, was being questioned by local police. Security staff checked all passengers for bombs and weapons , but none was found.
