Apparently a car driver in Japan has been arrested after
driving for four miles with the body of an eighty year old pensioner lodged in their car windscreen.
The driver struck the elderly woman in the early hours of Sunday morning and continued to drive home.
Police visited the driver at home to find the body was still protruding through the car's shattered windscreen.
After the incident was reported to police, the driver was arrested.
The police have charged the driver with causing a traffic accident resulting in death and with leaving the scene of an accident. If convicted under Japanese Law the driver could spend up to 17 years in prison or a fine of up to
