Should nightclub speakers be turned up so loud a London student dies?

A student collapsed at a party and died complaining the loud bass music was getting to his heart, evidence was presented to the London Coroner.

The 19 year old student was taken ill in a crowded London Club after standing close to the speakers. There was no trace of alcohol or drugs in his body and his heart was in good condition.

His friend said they were pushed toward the speakers, her friend felt like the bass was making him ill. His heart was beating too fast.

The straight A's student was killed by Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS) , a heart disorder which kills 12 young people a week.

Medical experts are of the opinion that SADS can be triggered  by noise. The student was suddenly exposed to a lot of loud noise and it's highly possible that this caused the attack.
