The death of the 100th British soldier this year shows how tough it is to win the war in Afghanistan. This year 50,000 American troops will be deployed as reinforcements.
Is this a war on terror that can be won ?
The media seem to have not been too concerned about reporting the events of the past few weeks when the Obama Administration have suggested troops withdraw in the summer of 2011.
What do you think ? is this another example of a war such as Vietnam where the US and the UK should withdraw because it can not be won?
