Tottenham’s star midfielder, Luka Modric, is at the centre of a four-way tussle for his signature as Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid all vie for his services. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has failed to tempt the Croatia international into signing an improved deal at White Hart Lane and now faces the real possibility their star midfielder will leave.
Modric states that he will not come to a decision prior to the European Championships, although it is widely assumed that he will not sign on with Spurs due to their failure to qualify for the Champions League due to Chelsea winning the final in Munich on Saturday night.
Tottenham would prefer he left England, so that they would not have to face playing against him during the season. Although I’d prefer if he went to Manchester United haha.
