Russell Brand is a walking example of the life lesson ‘you never know what you’ve got until it’s gone’. The comedian has sent ex-wife Katy Perry an email saying that filing for divorce from the California Girls singer was the ‘biggest mistake’ of his life. The British comic is said to be ‘seething with jealousy’ after seeing a picture of Katy at Coachella last month in a romantic clinch with Robert Ackroyd of band Florence And The Machine.
British comic Brand also stated that he gave up on their marriage too soon. He filed for divorce from Perry in December and cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split. They had been married for 14 months, and Brand allegedly did not agree with Katy’s partying lifestyle and he told her to ‘tone it down’.
