Crossing Abbey Road !!

Abbey Road Studios, is in need of funding to continue.

Lord Lloyd - Webber and Sir Paul McCartney have expressed their concerns about the studio closing.  English Heritage has now called on the government to safeguard the future of the site by listing the St. John's Wood building.

Lord Lloyd  - Webber has emerged as a possible bidder for the studio and is believed to be bidding £30 million to buy the building.

Listing would recognise that the building is special. It is not a tool to frustrate change or even a possible sale but will mean any decision affecting the building's future would need to be considered very carefully.
